Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton

Want to learn more about the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum? Take a break and come to the Al Harris Library’s Instruction Room on Wednesday, April 25, at 3:00 p.m. You will be informed and entertained! Pat Smith, Director of the Museum, will be discussing the Museum's purpose, its origins, its collection, and its upcoming centennial activities. The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum is operated by The Oklahoma Historical Society. Exhibits begin with “The World’s Largest Curio Cabinet,” home of special treasures collected from along Route 66. An audio tour written and narrated by Michael Wallis, author of Route 66: The Mother Road, guides visitors through six decades of Route 66 history.
