Heard a good book Lately?

Listening to audiobooks is a great way to get through more books than you have time to read in print or as ebooks.  Listening while doing routine activities such as exercise or while running errands allows you to be exposed to works that complement your studies and enrich you.

Audiobooks contain all of the content of the original book (unabridged).  Sometimes the performance of the voice talent doing the reading adds to the listener’s appreciation of a book they may have had a problem completing in the past.

Audiobooks come from a variety of subjects from self-help, psychology, business, history, fiction and more.  They are published in different formats, including CDs or streaming.

See part of our collection of audiobooks in the book display at the entrance of the Al Harris Library.  All of the books can be checked out.  Or, you can stream books from the Naxos Spoken Word Library found in the library databases collection.
